Destiny Kids

We believe at Destiny that our children are truly a gift from the Lord. Proverbs 22:6 says: “Train a child in the way He should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.” (NIV) We believe that proper training of our children will endure throughout their lives. We believe there is a standard of life to which children should cling to and we are dedicated to purposefully training our children so that they will know and live according to God’s foundational truths. We do this by providing our children with a loving, safe, and healthy environment of fun activities, exciting teaching, and strong Biblical training.

SUNDAY MORNINGS: 1st – 5th Grade Children

The fun starts with our services on Sunday mornings where we have a full worship service specifically for our children that concides with our  8:30, 10:15 & 12 noon services. We offer our children an interactive praise and worship experince that starts off their service. After praise and worship, Pastor's John and Brittany, and the Destiny Kids leadership team offers a teaching and activity driven sessions to help our learn and grow in their relationship with Christ. Our focus in these sessions is sharing the love of Christ. Matthew 18:3-5 says "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoever welcomes a little child like this in My name welcomes Me.”

At Destiny Kids, it is our desire to show your children the love of Jesus through worship, games, wonderful illustrated lessons, videos, plays, personal ministry time in their small groups, as well as lessons & curriculum taught by our Children’s pastors and teachers. This session is held in the children’s facility, and is a fun and exciting time for teachers and our student leaders of all ages, but is designed specifically for children in the 1st through 5th grades.

At Destiny Church, your child can be a part of our “Destiny Kids!” Children's Ministry, where they are first greeted with a loving environment and teachers that have a passion for teaching children. Our children love learning what they can do for the kingdom of God. It is our heart and mission to see them actively participating in the learning about their place in this world as a Child of God.
